TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

MiTS Window Tinting

Effective Date: 13th December 2025

1. Application

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the provision of services by MiTS Window Tinting (the “MiTS,” “We,” or “Provider”) and the use of our website, in compliance with UK contract law and consumer legislation (specifically the Consumer Rights Act 2015). By booking a service or using this website, the customer (the “You”) fully agrees to these Terms.

2. Services Offered

MiTS provides automotive services including window tint application, headlight/taillight restoration and tinting, number plate services, and dechrome delete services, as detailed on the website.

3. Booking and Contract Formation

  1. Quotations: All quotations provided, whether by phone, email, or via the website form, are estimates and are valid for a period of 30 days, subject to a final inspection of the vehicle prior to work commencement.

  2. Booking: Booking a time slot constitutes an offer of contract. The contract is deemed formed only when MiTS confirms the booking in writing (email or message) and, if applicable, upon payment of any required deposit.

  3. Vehicle Condition: The Customer must ensure the vehicle is in a reasonably clean condition for the service application. Any excessive time spent on vehicle preparation may be chargeable.

4. Pricing and Payment

  1. Final Price: The final price will be confirmed after vehicle inspection and is due in full upon completion of the service.

  2. Deposits: MiTS reserves the right to request a non-refundable deposit to secure certain bookings.

  3. Payment Methods: We accept payments via methods specified at the shop (including card and bank transfer).

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  1. Cancellation by Customer: The Customer must notify MiTS at least 48 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a service. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the retention of any paid deposit or the charge of a reasonable cancellation fee.

  2. Cancellation by MiTS: In rare circumstances (e.g., illness, technical issues, severe weather affecting mobile service quality), MiTS may need to cancel or reschedule. We will do our utmost to notify the Customer as soon as possible and re-book at a mutually convenient time.

6. Lifetime Warranty

  1. Scope: MiTS offers a Lifetime Warranty against product failure (e.g., bubbling, peeling, cracking) resulting from poor workmanship or material defect, provided the film was installed by MiTS.

  2. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, abrasion, accidents, acts of vandalism, or attempted repairs by third parties.

  3. Claim Process: To activate the warranty, the Customer must provide proof of service and present the vehicle for inspection at our London shop.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. Existing Damage: MiTS is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle, including, but not limited to, scratches, dents, or electrical faults, that were not communicated prior to the commencement of the service.

  2. Heated Glass: On older vehicles or those with poor quality replacement glass, the process of removing existing tint may occasionally cause damage to the rear window heating element. MiTS will take all reasonable care, but we accept no liability for damage to the rear window demister.

  3. Indemnity: MiTS’s total liability for any claim arising from the provision of services shall be limited to the cost of the service paid by the Customer.

8. Intellectual Property

The content, logos, and trade name “MiTS Window Tinting” are the property of MiTS and are protected by UK copyright law. Reproduction or use without express permission is prohibited.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
